You left me there
beaten down and bruised
You turned your back on me
and left me alone, crying for help

I gave you my heart
You held it for a moment
and then you let it fall
and shatter to pieces

Now I;m stuck with this pain
I'm stuck with these memories
and all these scars
will make sure I don't forget

I crawl on my hands and knees
gathering the remains of my heart
My cuts reopen through my struggles
and bleed fresh blood  

I'll find all the pieces though
and I'll put it back together
It may take awhile
